Dana Whitten

Attorney Dana Whitten concentrates her practice in Maryland family law, including divorce, child custody, and child support matters. Dana enjoys helping people; she often sees clients at one of the worst times of their lives, and is committed to helping them get to their best. Following her graduation from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, Dana returned to her native home of Maryland. She has practiced family law in both small private practices and at a top-rated nationally recognized law firm, and has represented clients in nearly every county in the state. She valued the experience she gained at these firms, and decided to open her own practice in order to provide clients customized service at more reasonable rates than other firms offer. Dana's experience has taught her that clients need both strong advocacy and personal support, and she is skilled at providing both. She takes pride in being a good listener, helping her clients understand what to expect from the legal process, and making the often contentious transition of divorce more bearable for them. A skilled negotiator, Dana works to resolve clients' legal matters as quickly and as cost-effectively as possible.
