When I first started the journey of divorcing a narcissist (sociopath), I felt like I was the only person in the world experiencing such a nightmare. Forced to represent myself in court and conflict avoidant by nature, this chapter of my life tested me at a core level. I now know that there is light on the other side of the darkness - and I am a firm believer that children only need one healthy, stable parent to come through this as unscathed as possible.
